We are delighted to announce that Dr. S. Sreekumar, HoD and Senior Principal Scientist, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Division, has assumed charge as Director-in-Charge of KSCSTE–JNTBGRI on 23 February 2026. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish him great success in his esteemed role.

On 26 February 2026, 45 participants from Akhil Bharatiya Vanaushadhi Abhyas Mandal (ABVAM), a national-level non-governmental organization, including Ayurvedic physicians, botanists, Ayurveda students, and nature enthusiasts, visited JNTBGRI to study its rich medicinal plant diversity and conservation initiatives. During the visit, the group also met Dr. S. Sreekumar, Director of JNTBGRI.
