Dr. S. Pradeep Kumar has taken charge as the 11th Director of KSCSTE-JNTBGRI from 1 September 2023. Dr. S. Pradeep Kumar Sreedharan Nair became the Member Secretary of the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment, Govt. of Kerala, in September 2016. He also holds the additional charge of the Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (KSCSTE-JNTBGRI). Dr. S. Pradeep Kumar has extensive experience in teaching and research in botany. He joined as a lecturer in Botany in 1987 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010 to facilitate his role as the Controller of Examinations. During this period, he earned his PhD from the University of Kerala. Dr. S. Pradeep Kumar was relieved from the KSCSTE-JNTBGRI Director position on 24 June 2024.
