Centre of Excellence in Phytochemical Nanotechnology (CEP)
ABOUT THE CENTRE
Centre of Excellence in Phytochemical nanotechnology (CEP) is a flag ship programme of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment granted to JNTBGRI under the scheme -State Higher Research Centres of Excellence in Science and Technology applications (SHRESTA). The CEP was established at the Saraswathi Thangavelu Extention Centre of JNTBGRI in the Puthenthoppe campus in a separate building solely dedicated for it. The total budgetary lay out for the centre is 200 Lakhs for a period of five years as two phases. The establishment of main laboratory and induction necessary equipment were started since 2022 and its up gradation is going on. As a Centre of Excellence, the CEP is being headed by the Director JNTBGRI with his team.

- Establishment and strengthening of the Centre of excellence in Phytochemical nanotechnology Centre with cutting edge technologies.
- Phytochemical Nanotechnology products
- Human Resource development through PhDs and onsite synthesis and analysis.
- Conduct Trainings/seminars/workshops/internships in Phytochemical nanotechnology.
- Collaborate with Universities/ Colleges/ R&D/ Industries to develop products in phytochemical-nanotechnology.
- Patent, Technology transfer and Publication of novel findings
